Now the flibbertigibbet competition is one that runs annually within the Cynical Ramblings community. It is a challenge that strives to display the best of the best in excessive talking. The competitors gather in a soon to be named location and talk for 3 hours straight about an utterly banal subject of their choosing. The best of these entrants are then selected for the ruthlessly difficult elimination rounds, which are run-ups to the semi-finals and finals of the competition (this extensive elimination is necessary due to the shear number of applicants we receive every year). Each round the taking time becomes longer and a new subject must be selected each time. A panel of judges comprised of former winners of the sport and university experts are in charge of the selection process. Once the semi-finals are at last reached contestants must talk for at least 14.65 hours, but this time they must switch subject every two hours, meaning they are required to know an extortionate amount of useless facts. When we at last come to the final, which will be held in one of the world's major stadiums due to the sports nature as one of spectator value, the finalists must waffle for 3 days, with half hours breaks every 10 hours (they may however chose to talk on just one topic).
When the end of the final has arrived a winner will be crowned and given £5 million as champion, they will also receive a trophy and £40 in Tesco vouchers points.
