Take this condensed example taken from "Hollyoaks": soemone drives a minibus into a wedding marque (we have no idea why they did this). The marque then collapses (presumably killing some people somewhere). A lone woman survives the crushing, then tries to walk away when the bus explodes and she is hit by a flaming door, which instantly kills her.
If that's not over the top I don't know what is (apart from that episode where someone is miraculously wearing a bullet proof vest when they're shot...?)
Not that kind of soap!
